One of the changes that I always wanted to see in Emoji keyboard was a new section where you could quickly access your favorite Emojis so that you don’t have to search for them. The keyboard currently displays a collection of Emoji used recently but there’s no way you can mark your favorite ones.
If you’re craving for a favorites section in Emoji then you should definitely consider checking out a new jailbreak tweak called Mimoji that does exactly what you want.
The tweak replaces the Recents section in Emoji with Favorites where you can keep all your frequently used and favorite Emojis and save yourself from having to search every time you want to use them.
Once installed, head to the tweak’s preferences pane in Settings to get started. From there, you can enable or disable the tweak via the kill switch toggle and select the Emojis to be added to the Favorites section.
What’s more interesting is that the tweak also allows you to choose the default skin tone to be used for some Emoji. You simply have to enable this functionality in the pane and choose the default skin.
Mimoji is a very useful tweak and definitely worth the try if you were looking for a way to have a favorites section in Emoji keyboard. If you’d like to check it out, Mimoji is available for $0.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo.
