To promote 3D Touch in iPhone 6s some flagship Apple Retail stores feature a touch-sensitive table

Apple Store 3D Touch marketing

3D Touch, which is available in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, is one of the new marquee features in Apple’s latest flagships, so it makes sense that the company would want to show it off as uniquely as they can.
At the same time, showing off its functionality is important, too, and that’s why Apple has launched a new touch-sensitive table at its New York and San Francisco flagship Apple Retail stores. The new table is a large representation of 3D Touch and its functionality, showcasing animated water below iPhone 6s units. The water will ripple when a customer presses on the display unit’s display to activate 3D Touch, which will also make the fish animation on the phone’s display move as well.
The tables are only present in the aforementioned stores right now, and there’s no telling whether or not they’ll make appearances in other retail stores across the globe. Just in case you might not get to try one out, a video posted below shows off the new table in action.

What do you think of the retail marketing?
