The entire 190-page script for Universal Studios’ new Steve Jobs movie is now available to read online. Written by Aaron Sorkin and based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography, the script tells Jobs’s story from backstage at major Apple keynotes.
Despite the media interest, Steve Jobs hasn’t been doing well in theaters across the United States. Not only has the movie fallen significantly short on sales expectations, but it was dropped from more than 2,000 theaters just weeks after its wider debut.
There is still hope, however, that Steve Jobs will be successful at the Oscars. The biopic is odds-on favorite to become “Best Adapted Screenplay” thanks to Sorkin’s writing, which has already bagged an Academy Award for 2010’s The Social Network.
If you’re yet to catch Steve Jobs yourself — or even if you have — and you’re interesting in reading that script, now’s your chance. Universal has released the whole thing in its entirety as a PDF for fans to enjoy, and you’ll find it by clicking here.
Have you seen Steve Jobs yet, and if so, what did you think of it? Let us know down in the comments.
