The Beatles are coming to Apple Music, Spotify and other music streaming services on Christmas Eve

The Beatles
After avoid music streaming services for years, The Beatles will be making their way to them from Christmas Eve. Even better, they are coming not just to any particular music streaming service, but to a whole bunch of them, including Apple Music, Google Play Music and Spotify.
In fact, The Beatles are not coming to only two major streaming services: Pandora and Rdio. The former does not do direct deals with artists and music owners, while the latter shut down this week.
The world’s most famous band will finally be available on streaming music services, starting this Thursday, Christmas Eve. And they’ll be available very, very widely: Industry sources say that the Fab Four’s music will be on all of the obvious music services, including Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and Tidal, as well as some you might not expect, including Amazon’s Prime Music.
Unlike Taylor Swift and other artists, you don’t have to be a paying customer of any of these streaming music services to listen to songs from the Beatles. The songs will also be available for streaming for free users on streaming services that offer a free tier like Spotify.
The Beatles catalog was first made available for download digitally through the iTunes Store in 2010. A year later, the catalog was made available for download on other digital stores as well, but were never made available on streaming services, which have gained popularity in recent years.
