The tweak provides users with the ability to replace the default App Switcher background in iOS 8 with any custom image of their own. The image can be loaded from the Photo Library or you can take a picture on the spot and use it.
Once you install SwitcherPaper, head to the tweak’s preferences pane available in Settings. From there, you can enable or disable it via the kill switch toggle as well as choose the image to be used as the App Switcher background. Keep in mind that you can also remove this image whenever you want.
In case the background doesn’t change to the custom image, you can try respringing your device. When I tested it, I had to respring my iPhone several times until the custom image appeared in the App Switcher.
If you’re interested to check out the tweak, SwitcherPaper is currently available on Cydia’s BigBoss repo for $0.99. In my opinion, it should be available as a free package for the functionality that it offers as there are much better tweaks that offer more features at the same price.
