The Clock app offers a fair amount of options when it comes to setting an alarm on your iPhone. Arise 2 is a new jailbreak tweak takes things a step further by providing some cool new options while setting an alarm in the Clock app.
You can adjust the volume level of each alarm, enable or disable vibration and automatic dismissal and set a fade-in duration which is the period of time the volume increases gradually from 0 up to the custom level.
You can also set multiple ringtones to an alarm so that every time it rings, a different ringtone is used. These options are available when you’re setting a new alarm.
The tweak also comes with a separate preferences pane in Settings offering the same options. The settings that you make here will act as the default configuration when you’re creating a new alarm. If you don’t want all these additional functionality, you can simply toggle off ‘Customize alarm’.
What I like about Arise 2 is that it is nicely integrated into the Clock app that makes it really convenient to access and gives it a native feel and look. The only issue that I had with the tweak is that choosing random ringtones causes the Clock app to crash right away. This is one of the major features of the tweak and I wish the developer fixes it in the next update. Other than this, everything else works smoothly.
If you’re in to give this tweak a try, Arise 2 is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repo for $0.99 and is compatible with iOS 8.0 – iOS 8.4 devices. Let us know what you think about the tweak in the comments section below.
