Photo Swipe brings one of our favorite iOS 9 features to Photos app in iOS 8

One of the nifty little features of iOS 9 is the ability to swipe down when viewing a photo in the Photos app to go back to the album, Collection or Moments. If you’d like to enjoy this feature on your iOS 8 device, you should probably check out a new jailbreak tweak known as Photo Swipe.
The tweak brings the swipe to dismiss functionality to iOS 8 Photos app allowing you to swipe a photo up or down to go back to the album rather than using the back button or pinch gesture.
Photo Swipe is currently available on the developer’s repo as a beta tweak and if you’d like to try it, you should add the following source to Cydia first: http://tateu.net/repo/. Once added, search for the tweak and install it.
Photo Swipe comes with a dedicated preferences pane available in Settings where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand, toggle on or off release border and cover transition icon as well as choose the transition duration when performing a swipe gesture.
Photo Swipe works perfectly as advertised and is a very useful tweak. All you have to do is to simply swipe a photo up or down to close it to go back to the album, Collection or Moments. Instead of waiting for iOS 9 to try out this feature, you can get it on iOS 8 via the Photo Swipe tweak.
