Kohl’s in the United States has a large footprint with over 1,200 stores across the country, and now it has another milestone it can put under its belt.
Apple recently updated its dedicated site for showcasing participating banks, credit unions and retailers for Apple Pay, adding its first retailer to “Store cards in the United States” section. The department store chain, Kohl’s, is the first name to be added to the list, which means Kohl’s now officially supports its own store cards by way of Apple Pay.
Recently, as surfaced by MacRumors, the official Kohl’s Twitter account tweeted out that beginning Tuesday, October 27, Kohl’s customers could indeed use their store cards to pay for items at the retailer, all within Apple Pay.
Kohl’s was one of the fist retailers to be listed as supporting Apple Pay and store cards, but it’s certainly not the only one. Shoppers at JCPenney, Walgreens, and many others can expect to get support for the store’s charge cards in the future.
