This app allows you to use iPhone 6s’ 3D Touch to weigh items

iPhone 6s 3D Touch

Developer Simon Gladman from FlexMonkey Towers has come up with an innovative app, Plum-O-meter, that uses 3D Touch on the new iPhones to compare the weights of objects.
The weight being shown by the app is actually the amount of pressure being applied on the screen by the said objects. A quick video demonstration of the app in action can be found below:
The idea of using 3D Touch to weigh objects is not particularly new. Huawei had shown off the Force Touch capabilities on the Mate S to weigh oranges at IFA in late-August this year.
The developer has weighed plums in the video, but the app can likely be used to weigh other (non-heavy) objects as well. Sadly, Plum-O-meter uses some private APIs so it only works on jailbroken iPhones for now. The app is not available for download through Cydia, but the developer has made the source code available on GitHub so if you have the technical know-how, you can compile the app yourself.
