Tether is an awesome new jailbreak tweak that brings a unique way of creating Alarms, Reminders and Calendar events quickly on your iPhone. It is not only a very useful tweak, it is also fun to use as well.
With Tether, you can use a 3D Touch gesture on an empty space on the Home screen to display the tweak’s interface, which consists of a time box and a line extending from it. You can then drag your finger around the screen to granularly select a time. The further your finger is from the origin, the further the time will be. As you drag your finger, you will feel the haptic feedback from your iPhone.
Once you’ve adjusted to the right time, you can then lift your finger off the screen to create an alarm, reminder or a calendar event.
The tweak also supports devices without 3D Touch capability. All you have to do is to triple tap on the Home screen to view Tether’s interface.
The tweak doesn’t come with any settings. It will get enabled by default and you simply have to perform a 3D Touch or triple tap gesture on the Home screen to get started.
Tether introduces a very interesting concept and is a cool way to create alarms, reminders and calendar events on your iPhone on the go. If you’d like to check it out, you can grab it for $0.99 from Cydia’s BigBoss repo.
