The Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack, which goes on sale for the first time today, is now available through iTunes priced at $11.99. Apple Music subscribers can also stream all 23 tracks no extra cost.
Composed by John Williams, the soundtrack runs for about 70 minutes in total, with the final track — entitled “The Jedi Steps and Finale” — running for almost 9 minutes alone. It goes on sale less than a week after The Force Awakens made its theatrical debut.
The movie is now on track to break box office records following strong demand for tickets worldwide. Apple has celebrated the film with a special Star Wars radio station on Apple Music, and a number of promotions on Star Wars content in iTunes.
You’ll also find the soundtracks from previous Star Wars movies in iTunes and Apple Music, alongside other soundtracks composed by John Williams, such as those from Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.
