Apple has seeded the second beta of watchOS 2.2 for Apple Watch to developers for testing. Apple has also seeded iOS 9.3 beta 2, tvOS 9.2 beta 2 and the second OS X 10.11.4 beta to developers earlier today.
Apple has officially seeded the second developer beta for watchOS 2.2, just over one week since the company seeded the first beta to devs.
watchOS 2.2 beta 1 included the ability to pair multiple Apple Watches with a single iPhone running iOS 9.3, and updates to the Maps app. There were no other user-facing features discovered in the previous beta version.
To download the new beta software, you’ll need to be running an iPhone with the new iOS 9.3 beta already installed. You’ll then open the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone, head into General and tap on Software Update. The Apple Watch has to have at least 50 percent battery, has to be placed on the Apple Watch charger, and has to be in range of the iPhone equipped with iOS 9.3.
We’ll update the post if we find any new feature or changes.
