For those located in Malaysia that have been waiting for the Apple Watch to go on sale in their neck-of-the-woods, the time of waiting is finally over.
Apple’s wearable officially went on sale in Malaysia beginning in the morning, local time, and includes all of the models, including the Apple Watch Sport, Watch, and Watch Edition. Pricing for the Watch Sport starts at RM 1,599, while the Watch starts at RM 2,499, and the Watch Edition is priced at RM 47,000.
The special edition Apple Watch Sport, launched specifically for the Chinese New Year, is the (PRODUCT)RED Apple Watch Sport variant, and both the Gold and Silver options available with the red Sport band attached. Pricing for the 38mm Gold Aluminum case is RM 1,599.00; while the 42mm Gold Aluminum case is RM 1,849.00.
The Apple Watch’s rollout continues across the globe, after initially launching in several different markets, including the United States, back in April, 2015. The Czech Republic and Portugal are next on the list, with availability for the Apple Watch models beginning January 29 in those regions.
