Coda is a new beta jailbreak tweak which adds an icon in the Status bar to display the progress for the song.
The tweak displays a circular icon in the Status bar that is animated to reflect the playback progress of the current playing song. As the music is playing on your iPhone, the progress bar of the icon fills with a solid white color to give you an idea of how much more time is left for the song to complete.
Coda seems to have been inspired by an outdated tweak called Arco that works similarly. However, one essential feature that it lacks is showing the playback status of the currently playing music. For instance in Arco, if the music was paused, the progress indicator would show a pause icon whereas in Coda, it doesn’t show anything.
With that said, Coda is flagged as a beta package so there are chances that the developer will add a playback indicator to the Status bar icon and other new features in upcoming updates.
Once installed, Coda doesn’t require any additional configuration. Simply play a song from the Music app and you will notice the new icon added to the Status bar.
Apart from the stock Music app, Coda works with third-party music apps as well such as Spotify, Shazam etc.
