It was a busy week for developers, as Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference showed off plenty of new tools and features for its desktop, mobile, and wearable platforms.
But there is still plenty of details lingering, as noted by 9to5Mac, including changes for developers and the tools they use to develop, release and test their apps. The first of which is some changes to iTunes Connect, its TestFlight program, and more.
TestFlight is getting some changes to the numbers directly tied to builds, testers, and apps. Specifically, Apple is increasing the number of internal and external testers (24 internal per account; 2,000 external) that can try out a pre-release application. The increase also gets tuned towards more builds a developer can release per day (external builds up to 6 per day), as well as the number of apps a developer can have per account (up to 100). Build expiration has also been increased from 30 days to 60 days.
The changes are available now, so developers should already be seeing them.
If you’re a developer, what do you think of the alterations?
