Earlier on June 28, it was revealed that iOS 8.4, and Apple Music, will launch at 8:00 AM PT on Tuesday, June 30. Now, for owners of Sonos speakers, even more good news has surfaced.
As long as you have a bit more patience, that is. According to Apple Music’s senior director, Ian Rogers, who responded to a Twitter user recently, support for Sonos speakers is coming as soon as possible, but it will indeed miss the proper Apple Music launch on Tuesday.
For now, until that official Sonos support launches, Apple Music listeners will need to use a workaround to get their tunes streaming off their iPad, iPhone or Mac. That includes utilizing an Apple TV or an AirPort Express to get the music streaming. However, for those with standard Bluetooth-equipped wireless speakers, Apple Music will work just fine when streaming to those accessories.Are you looking forward to Apple Music’s launch?
