TaiG team has just released a new version of their TaiG Jailbreak tool. TaiG 2.1.3) to fix several issues with their jailbreak tool such as the UI Cache bug that could cause app icons to disappear on iOS 8.3 was fixed by saurik yesterday, the jailbreak process getting stuck at 20%, the long startup time reported by iPhone 4s users and the issue with the TaiG jailbreak tool on a virtual machine etc.
Here’s the complete change log for TaiG 2.1.3 Jailbreak tool:
- Fix the issue of getting stuck at 20% while jailbreaking.
- Update the latest Cydia 1.1.18 and UIKitTools 1.1.1.0; fix the issue of icon missing after jailbreak.
- Fix long startup time of iPhone 4s after jailbreak.
- Fix the issue that TaiG Jailbreak Tool doesn’t work on the virtual machine.
TaiG team had said that they had fixed the getting stuck at 20% issue in TaiG 2.1.2 jailbreak tool as well, but it didn’t seem to have completely fixed the issue as users were still reporting the problem.
If you had problems jailbreaking your device with TaiG 2.0.0 or TaiG 2.1.2 jailbreak tool, then you can try jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad again using TaiG 2.1.3 jailbreak.
If you’ve already jailbroken your device using TaiG 2.0.0 or 2.1.2 jailbreak tool then you can don’t need to re-jailbreak your device. Update: TaiG team has released an update for TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether package on Cydia. Please add TaiG’s repo “apt.taig.com” to Cydia to get the update. Install it to manually upgrade your iOS device jailbroken using TaiG 2.0.0 or 2.1.2 jailbreak to 2.1.3.
