Quickly switch between keyboards on your iPhone with KeySwipe

keyswipe jailbreak tweak
When you want to switch between your keyboards in iOS, you can tap on the globe icon which is usually located in the bottom left corner. It is an easy way of changing your keyboard but a new jailbreak tweak known as KeySwipe goes a little step further by providing a quicker way of doing the job.
The tweak allows you to swipe up or down on the keyboard to switch to the next or the previous keyboard. For instance, if your current keyboard is the stock iOS keyboard and the next one is Emoji, you can swipe up to view the Emoji keyboard. Similarly, you can swipe down to go to the previous keyboard.
This is a more convenient way of switching between your iOS keyboards while you’re typing than if you had to reach to the bottom left corner to tap on the globe icon.
KeySwipe also comes with a dedicated preferences pane available in Settings that offers a single toggle only to enable or disable it on demand. Other than this, it doesn’t require any other configuration so once you’ve installed it, you’re good to go.
KeySwipe is a perfect tweak to quickly switch between your iOS keyboards, however the major downside is that it doesn’t work with third-party keyboards downloaded from the App Store such as Swype. It only works with the stock iOS keyboards as well as the Emoji keyboard. So if you don’t use third party keyboards then this tweak is a solid choice for you. As the developer notes, KeySwipe is also compatible with SwipeSelection.
If you’re eager to check out KeySwipe, it is available for $0.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and works with both iOS 7 and iOS 8 devices. Sound off in the comments section below with your opinions on the tweak.
