Apple today provided a list of 25 apps that are infected by the XcodeGhost malware. While there are more than 25 apps present in the App Store that are infected by this malware, the company says that the number of users of these apps are comparatively less.
While majority of the infected apps have already been updated to remove any traces of the malware, there are still some apps available in the Chinese App Store that are infected by it.

Apple made this announcement on its regional Chinese website since the malware was only found in apps uploaded to China’s App Store. It also states in the announcement that it has not identified any case of the malware stealing precious user information. Additionally, it notes that it has stopped accepting submissions of applications infected with the malware.
Apple has already sent out emails to developers providing them with steps to check whether their version of Xcode is infected with the malware or not. Additionally, it has also stated that it will start offering local downloads of Xcode in China to avoid any such issues in the future.
You can use this tool from the Pangu team to check whether any of the installed apps on your device is affected by XcodeGhost malware or not. It is recommended that you uninstall any application in your device that is affected by the malware.
