With the tweak, you can view a list of all the blocked numbers that have tried to call you with a timestamp of when the call took place and how many times it was blocked. It also allows you to define phone number prefixes that you would like to be blocked. This ensures that same callers who use multiple phone numbers with only the last few digits differing will also be blocked.
What’s interesting is that the tweak will also alert you when a blocked number has tried calling you rather than keeping you unaware about it. This is done by displaying you a notification on the Lock screen or via the notification banner when your device is unlocked.
Once installed, you can get started by opening the tweak’s standalone app added to the Home screen. The initial screen displays a list of all the blocked numbers who tried to call you. To configure the tweak, tap on the Settings button located in the top right corner. From there, you can toggle on or off each of the features that the tweak provides and configure how you would like to be notified when a blocked number tries to call you.
If you feel that the stock features of iOS call blocking is limited and doesn’t provide much flexibility then you should definitely consider checking out this tweak. Sentinel is available for $1.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and supports iOS 8 devices.
