Performing a 3D Touch gesture on the Camera app icon on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus presents four shortcuts namely Take Selfie, Record Video, Record Slo-mo and Take Photo. By default, 3D Touch shortcut menu is limited to a maximum of four items.CamTouch is a new jailbreak tweak that extends the number of shortcuts provided by the Camera app.
The tweak adds two new shortcuts to the Camera app that allow you to take Panoramic photos and record a time-lapse video. To get the tweak working, you’ll have to actually install a second tweak known as UnlimShortcut which removes the four shortcut limits of apps. It enables shortcut menus to have an unlimited number of items.
UnlimShortcut also comes with an additional configuration pane that allows you to adjust the row and icon height of app shortcuts, content width, and the title font size.
Once the latter is installed, the Camera app will feature up to 6 shortcuts including the two new items added by CamTouch for Panorama photos and time-lapse videos.
CamTouch will only work once UnlimShortcut has been added. In fact, UnlimShortcut should have been a prerequisite package to install for CamTouch to prevent confusion.
If you’d like to have more shortcuts added to your apps then UnlimShortcut is a solid choice for you. This coupled with CamTouch give you access to additional Camera shortcuts. Both the packages are available as a free package on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and are worth checking out.
