I hit major battery life issues on my iPhone 6 Plus after upgrading to iOS 8.3 in April. Before upgrading to iOS 8.3, I could easily use my iPhone 6 Plus for the entire day without charging it.
But after upgrading to iOS 8.3, battery life was draining very quickly, and I couldn’t use my iPhone 6 Plus for the entire day without charging it. And based on the comments from our readers, I was not the only one facing the problem.
Apple Music was not the only reason I was looking forward to iOS 8.4. I was hoping that Apple will also fix the battery life issues in iOS 8.4. I was disappointed when the iOS 8.4 release notes didn’t have any mention of improvements to battery life. However, I was hoping that Apple had quietly fixed the issue.I plan to try some of the standard tips to extend battery life to see if it helps, but they did not work in iOS 8.3, so I am not very hopeful.
