Apple seeds second OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 beta to developers

On September 17, Apple seeded the first developer beta of OS X El Capitan 10.11.1, a planned update for the future release of OS X El Capitan.
Soon after, on September 21, Apple also released the first public beta for the upcoming software, showing that while the software is still being worked on, it’s at least moving in the right direction. Now, just under two weeks since the first developer beta was released, Apple has seeded the second beta for OS X 10.11.1 to developers.
As usual, the new software is available in the Updates tab within the Mac App Store for devices already running the first beta, or it can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center.
As far as what’s new, it all appears to be under-the-hood changes, including support for even more emoji.
Apple is set to launch OS X El Capitan to the public on September 30. Ahead of that, though, reviews of the new software have indicated it’s a worthwhile upgrade, even if it doesn’t feature a ton of new features.
