Before Apple got on stage and announced the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus,less-than-stellar images of the new phones’ packaging managed to find their way online.
Now, just a week before the launch of the new iPhones, clearer pictures of the boxes have been revealed, showcasing what’s a stark change from the box surrounding last year’s iPhone models. As revealed by MacRumors, several images showcasing the boxes have been published online, due in large part to the fact the units are arriving in preparation of shipments going out.
One source is a Spanish site, iPhoneros [translated], which states that its images actually came from China. The image, which can be seen above, perfectly centers the varied color options for the iPhone 6s, including the Space Gray, Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold. The same siamese fighting fish are displayed brilliantly on the phone’s display, too.
From the previous leaks, we know that the side of the box has the name of the iPhone on it, while the top holds the familiar Apple logo.
Finally, leaked images from Chinese siteFeng [translated], showcase the Rose Gold iPhone 6s in all its rose gold glory. It’s relatively easy to see the “S” indicator just under the iPhone brand on the back of the handset, which is the easiest way to show that this is a new phone, and not the older iPhone 6.
