Depending on the outlet, some stores are already gearing up for the holiday shopping season, which will probably be another monster stretch of sales as it typically is.
Leading up to the big “event,” Best Buy ran a nationwide poll to see which devices are on the wish list this year, and several different Apple products managed to make the list. In fact, the “iPad” is the number one most craved device on the list, which means that the tablet is the device that’s most wanted, or planned to be gifted, this holiday shopping season from those polled. There’s not a differentiator between the Air or mini lineup, though.
In second place is Bose’s QuietComfort 25 Noise Cancelling Headphones, and in third is Apple’s MacBook (again, no telling if that means the 12-inch MacBook, the Pro, or Air models). In fourth and fifth are Samsung’s 48-inch 4K Ultra HD TV and Sharp’s 43-inch Smart HDTC with Roku, respectively.
Notable entries include the “Microsoft Surface” (Surface or Surface Pro 3/4?) at sixth place, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 tablet at ninth, and the GoPro HERO4 Action Camera at 15.
The Apple Watch arrived on the list in 12th place. It’s worth noting, though, that there is only one other wearable on the list, and that’s Fitbit’s Charge HR Heart Rate and Activity Tracker, which took the 8th spot on the list.
