Finding a single location to check out a variety of Apple products, dating back to the 70s, just got a lot easier if you can make it over to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
There, a brand new “Apple museum” has recently opened its doors. The new location is reportedly the site of the largest private collection of Apple products, which includes devices, paperwork, and other mementos dating all the way back to 1976 and up until 2012.
The site is a renovated historical location in the region, and the windows have been decorated with artistic product layouts, quotes from Apple’s former CEO, Steve Jobs. There’s another quote that some may recognize, but is still unattributed:
“Three apples changed the world. The first tempted Eve, the second inspired Newton, and the third was offered to the world half eaten by Steve Jobs.”
There is a lot to take in, most of which has been collected as an “inside look” on Imgur. The museum showcases a variety of products from Steve Jobs’ life, including his early years at Apple, time spent at NeXT Computer, and even memorabilia from Pixar. That includes computers like the Lisa, of which there were only 100,000 made, and even an Apple II.
There’s an Apple Camera in attendance, too, along with the special edition Beatles boxset sold in 2008 with a specialized iPod — which retailed for $795 at the time. Tables have been dedicated to different products with a timeline. One shows the lifespan of the iPhone lineup so far, and another outlines the heritage of the iPod.
You can find tickets through the Apple museum source link below, which go for 11 euros. If you’re in the area, do you plan on stopping by?
