As the years tick by, Apple makes decisions to add older devices, ones that haven’t been manufactured in a long stretch of time, on its list of vintage and obsolete devices. Now it’s time for an update.
Recently, Apple updated its list of vintage and obsolete devices to include different products that were manufactured as far back as early-2008, and up until late-2009. The new additions include iMacs, MacBooks, Mac Pro, Cinema Displays, Time Capsule, and even an iPod. In most cases, the devices that are listed in the vintage/obsolete sheet aren’t eligible for hardware service any longer, but there are exceptions.
