The iPhone has been used to shoot movies for quite some time now, and not just of puppies doing cute things, either. That trend continues with a brand new music video.
Apple’s Phil Schiller this morning tweeted out a video for Dark Waves, a brand new song from Robert Koch that is being promoted with a brand new music video. Schiller tweeted out the video because it was shot on the iPhone 6s — something that Apple would obviously want the world to check out, considering the video is well done in its own right.
The video is from Robert Koch and it features Delhia de France. There’s a lot of underwater footage in it, as if the title of the song couldn’t give that away, so there’s obviously some extra equipment, like cases designed to go under the surface, and one could imagine plenty of other hardware to give the video that extra bit of a professional look.
You can check out the video below.
Have you been impressed with the iPhone 6s’ camera so far? Recently, 60 Minutes went behind-the-scenes at Apple’s camera testing labs to find out what makes the shooter so good, and it was revealed that the company has over 800 engineers and specialists working on the camera alone, which probably has something to do with it.
