Apple Watch will expand its reach to yet more markets on July 17 when it arrives in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Thailand. The device today makes its debut in seven new countries around the world, following its initial launch on April 24.
Apple Watch was originally only available in nine countries when it went up for pre-order on April 10, and that’s been the case until today, when the device went on sale in Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
Before rolling Apple Watch out in new markets, Apple had to deal with overwhelming early demand, which meant many early adopters had to wait well over a month to receive their new wearable. Fortunately, that’s no longer the case.
Apple Watch is now available to reserve and collect in many Apple Retail Storesaround the world, so you can buy most models the same day — as long as you book a pickup appointment first.
While early reviews of the device have been mixed, it still appears to have sold incredibly well — though we won’t know exactly how many units have been shipped until Apple reports its next quarterly earnings.
