‘Blocked’ brings Guest & Sleep mode to your Jailbroken iPhone to enhance security and privacy

blocked tweak
Have you ever been in a situation where someone asked to borrow your iOS device but you were worried about them accessing your private information? You could perhaps just say no but if you’re not that type of guy then you should check out a new jailbreak tweak known as Blocked.
The tweak lets you keep your iOS device more secure by offering two different modes known as Guest and Sleep modes. Sleep mode prevents access to certain features of iOS such as Touch ID so that no one can access your device using your fingerprint. It also allows you to completely prevent access to Control Center and Notification Center when your device is either locked or unlocked.
Sleep mode can be invoked via an Activator gesture or you can schedule it to get enabled automatically at a certain time such as during the night so that no one uses your fingerprint to access your device while you’re sleeping. On the other hand, Guest mode allows you to block specific apps, certain features of Control Center and Notification Center when enabled. Once guest mode is triggered, the features will be disabled the next time you unlock your device. This feature comes in handy when you’re lending your device to someone else and would like to make sure they don’t access your private information.
After installing Blocked, head to the tweak’s preferences pane available in Settings to configure it. Here, you can enable or disable Guest or Sleep mode manually, assign an Activator action to invoke them as well as choose the features and apps that should be blocked when the corresponding mode is enabled.
When you invoke a particular mode, you will also receive a notification banner letting you know whether it has been enabled or disabled.
Blocked comes in handy in many situations and offers a more customized experience. You’ll also find features such as blocking Touch ID which isn’t available in other tweaks such as PanicLock or GuestMode.
If you’re interested to check out Blocked, it is available for $2.99 in Cydia’s BigBoss repo. Sound off in the comments section below with your opinions on the tweak.
