In late February, Pebble officially revealed the Pebble Time, which would go on to become one of the fastest-funded projects on Kickstarter to date.
Now, while Pebble Time backers have already started receiving their smartwatches, pre-orders for the wearable are now live exclusively at Best Buy. The big box retailer has online pre-orders available now, and for the three variants: white, red and black. This doesn’t include the Pebble Time Steel, though, so if you’re waiting for that one to go up for pre-order, the wait will have to continue.
The Pebble Time features a color e-paper display, a battery that lasts days, notification support, and its waterproof. It features a microphone, too, and an all-new OS that Pebble built to better equip wearers with the information they need, when they need it. All of that in a package that retails for $199.99.It’s worth noting that Best Buy has the expedited delivery date set at July 20, so keep that in mind when pre-ordering the wearable. Oh, and the original Pebble is still available for $99, and the company did say that the new OS is coming to the smartwatch at some point in the future, for what it’s worth.
