Want to check your iPhone’s battery life without actually getting it out of your pocket? Now you can, thanks to Power, a new app for Apple Watch.
Created by Surenix, a developer well-known for his work among the jailbreaking community, Power is a simple app that does exactly what you would expect it to. Open it up on your Apple Watch — or bring up its Glance — and in an instant you can see exactly how much battery life is remaining on your iPhone.
It’s handy for just checking battery life remotely when your iPhone’s in your pocket or your bag — or even sat charging in another room. Power doesn’t just give a battery percentage, but also tells you whether your iPhone’s charging or completely charged.
There are quite a few free and paid alternatives that offer this functionality, but Power is the most well-designed app we’ve seen so farPower is priced at just $0.99, and you can download it from the App Store now via the link below. Surenix is also responsible apps like Atom, the lock screen launcher for jailbroken iOS devices, and the incredibly popular Ayecon theme — one of the best on iOS.
