For those that want to add a bit of protection, or a lot of protection, to their Apple Watch, Griffin, a popular accessory maker, has you covered.
The company has two new cases for the Apple Watch, the first of which is a thin case that actually lets you change the style of your wearable a bit. It’s called the Ultra Thin, and it comes in a pack of three that measure in at 0.5mm thin. They are snap-on, colored, polished metallic cases, and there are several colors to choose from. As iMorenotes, one pack offers a clear case, Matte Gold, and Yellow Gold. Another pack offers clear, Polished Silver, and and Matte Silver. Another pack will be available at Best Buy in September, which will offer a Clear case, Matte Gold, and Polished Silver. It will retail for $19.99, and be available for both the 38mm and 42mm Watch.
The bigger case is called the Survival Tactical, and it will have three layers of protection for the wearable. The first is for the display, followed by a layer of polycarbonate and TPE layers for the casing itself, which Griffin says will absorb impact if the Watch is dropped. It can be snapped onto the Watch’s casing easily enough, and Griffin will offer colors that match the Sport bands, including Blue, Black, Pink, Green, and White. It will retail for $29.99. It’ll be available for both the 38mm and 42mm Watch options.
Do you already put a case on your Apple Watch?
