Apple TV updates NFL Now Channel with Game Pass subscription option and new name

NFL Apple TV channel
At the tail-end of July, the National Football League did away with its Game Rewind program, and instead opted to include a subscription-based service in its place.
That service was revealed as the “Game Pass,” and it allows subscribers to access plenty of content, including live access to out-of-market NFL games, as well as on-demand content for regular season matches, as well as the Playoff games and the Super Bowl, after they air on the broadcast channels. Now, the Game Pass subscription has been baked into the newly-revamped NFL Now channel, which is now simply entitled “NFL.”
This marks the first time that Apple TV owners have been able to watch live out-of-market preseason games, so for fans of the NFL this is a nice upgrade.
As far as availability for Game Pass goes, it’s available in the United States, its territories, possessions and commonwealths, Bermuda, Antigua, the Bahamas, and Mexico. It is available for $99.99, and the subscription will end on July 31, 2016.
Do you plan on subscribing to Game Pass?
