We’ve already seen images of iPhone 6s displays with mystery chips that suggest Force Touch will indeed make its way into Apple’s next-generation devices, and now a leaked iPhone 6s Plus display backs up those claims.
Published by Taiwanese parts supplier Apple Club, these images aren’t too surprising following the iPhone 6s display leaks we’ve already seen, but they again add strength to the rumors that claim both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will offer Force Touch for the first time.
The Force Touch controller can be seen just about the LCD panel in the photo below. This component was not present in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, however, it appears to be the only difference with the new display.
This all but confirms, then, that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will look identical to their predecessors, with only internal improvements. They are expected to be big improvements, however, with a new A9 processor, 2GB of RAM (up from 1GB), and a new 12-megapixel rear-facing camera.
