Apple Watch rumored to launch in India, Denmark and Austria in September

Apple Watch Force Touch
Right now, the Apple Watch is already available in quite a few different locations, and no longer hundred by online-only sales.
But there are still some areas where Apple’s most personal device yet isn’t available, and it looks like Apple could be looking to remedy that this month. According to a report published recently by MacRumors, the Apple Watch could be launching in Denmark, India and Austria as early as this month. The report cites several different pieces of information, none of which is an official statement from Apple just yet, but for those unable to get the Apple Watch just yet that live in those areas, it’s potentially good news.
The first batch of information comes from the Austrian website MacMania, which learned that the Apple Watch will go on sale in the region beginning September 15. According to that report, the information was gleaned from a message received by a source the publication trusts, which reportedly works within a large electronics manufacturing chain in the area. Interestingly enough, it should be noted that Apple doesn’t have a retail presence in Austria. (For what it’s worth, Austria is listed as a country where the Watch will be available “in 2015,” according to Apple.)
The Indian website iGyaan believes that the Apple Watch will go on sale in the country sometime in September, but no exact dates were provided. The report does state that the Watch will start at Rs. 24,999, though, for the entry-level Apple Watch Sport.
And, finally, the largest bank in Denmark, Danske Bank, issued a press release not too long ago that states its MobilePay service will be supported by the Apple Watch, and that the device is expected in September. Unfortunately, Danske Bank has since contradicted those statements, now falling back on “rumors” that suggested that the Apple Watch will release in September in Denmark.
In any event, it’s looking likely that the Apple Watch will see the light of day in more countries soon enough.
