Apple’s Online Store goes down ahead of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders

Apple Store down
Apple’s Online Store has gone down ahead of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders.
Pre-orders for the new iPhones is expected to start at 12:01 AM PT later tonight, so Apple’s Online store should come back up by or before 12:01 AM PT.
Interestingly, Apple has a new downtime message on its website:
We can’t wait to show you what we have in store.
Our virtual doors are just about to open. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and your patience as we work to get everyone in as quickly as possible. Keep checking back, because it won’t be long now.
For years, Apple has used “We’ll be back soon. We’re busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon.” as the downtime message.
Apple unveiled the 9th generation iPhones at the special event on September 9 alongside the new Apple TV and iPad Pro.
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come with 3D Touch, which adds a new dimension to iPhone’s multitouch interface. They also come with an 7000 series aluminum unibody chassis, ion-strengthened glass, the new 64-bit A9 chip, 12-megapixel iSight with 4K video recording capabilities and 5-megapixel FaceTime HD cameras, faster Touch ID, LTE and Wi-Fi. iPhone 6s Plus camera has optical image stabilization, which has been expanded to video.
We’ll let you know as soon as Apple’s Online Store is available.
Are you eagerly waiting to pre-order iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus?
Thanks Grayson for the tip!
