As expected, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders have just gone live on most parts of the world on most carriers.
Apple unveiled the 9th generation iPhones at the special event on September 9 alongside the new Apple TV and iPad Pro.
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are available for pre-order in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK and the US.
In the U.S, the new iPhones will be available for pre-order on Apple’s Online Store or the Apple Store app (iTunes link), and carriers’ website.
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come with 3D Touch, which adds a new dimension to iPhone’s multitouch interface. They also come with an 7000 series aluminum unibody chassis, ion-strengthened glass, the new 64-bit A9 chip, 12-megapixel iSight with 4K video recording capabilities and 5-megapixel FaceTime HD cameras, faster Touch ID, LTE and Wi-Fi. iPhone 6s Plus camera has optical image stabilization, which has been expanded to video.
16GB, 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6s will be available for $199, $299 and $399, and 16GB, 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6s Plus will be available for $299, $399 and $499 respectively with a two-year contract. Customers can also get the new iPhones for $0 down with 24 monthly payments starting at $27 and $31 respectively, from Apple’s retail stores in the US, Apple.com, select carriers and Apple Authorized Resellers.
Alternatively, customers can also get an unlocked iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus with the opportunity to get a new iPhone annually along with AppleCare+ on the new iPhone Upgrade program that is available exclusively at Apple’s retail stores in the US with monthly payments starting at $32 and $37 respectively.

You will also be able to pickup the new iPhones from Apple’s retail store, your carrier’s retail store or Apple Authorized Reseller on September 25, the launch day.

Tip: Based on past experience, the most reliable way to pre-order a new iPhone is to use the Apple Store app (direct iTunes link). Also keep the website open in case you have problems with the app.

Update 2 (12:15): If you are having problems in placing your order through the online store, use the Apple Store app on your iOS device.
Update 3: Please don’t forget, carriers are also taking pre-orders.
Update 4 (12:20): People still seem to be having problems accessing the website. You can try using Safari, that seems to be preferred. Otherwise, the Apple Store app is still the most reliable option.
