CallBar is a popular jailbreak tweak that redesigns the incoming call view so that it does not fully disrupt the current task you are doing on your iPhone. The tweak was today updated for iOS 8.
Rather than the incoming phone call taking up the entire screen, a half-sized banner pops up that allows you to keep using your iPhone while choosing to answer, decline or dismiss a call without stopping what you are doing.
The update brings iOS 8 support, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support, as well as iPad support but only for FaceTime calls.
The tweak integrates with Notification Center, and works with both normal as well as FaceTime Audio calls. It also has a dialler that can completely replace the Phone app.
CallBar’s iOS 8 update is free for existing users, and is available as a $3.99 download for everyone else from the Cydia Store.
Some users are reporting issues with the tweak, that puts them into Safe Mode, so let us know if CallBar works fine on your jailbroken iOS 8 device.
