Google launches a new Street View app with 360-degree Photo Spheres and more

Google Street View app
Google is shaking things up. Just recently the company unveiled a brand new logo, and now there’s a brand new Street View app, which incorporates a great new feature and even brings users into the fun, too.
Google just unveiled the new app via its official Lat-Long blog. With it, Google Maps users will be able to tour 360-degree, immersive imagery right from their phone. And, for the first time, submit their own to Google Maps. Essentially, this is taking use of Google’s Photo Spheres and implementing the feature right into Google Maps.
With the Explore option, users will be able to explore a variety of locations across the globe. There will be the aforementioned Photo Sphere on one side, along with the Street View collections and more right next to them in an easily navigated app. Making contributions to Google Maps is supremely easy, with the app uploading the content directly to the service after you finish taking the 360-degree photo.
The new app for iOS actually replaces the Photo Sphere Camera app, so keep an eye on that. It’s available now for free, with a link below to get it downloaded.
