On Tuesday, October 6, Apple released the next version of its running beta for developers for its upcoming tvOS.
Apple officially seeded tvOS beta 3 to developers, which is just under two weeks since Apple released the second developer beta. tvOS is the operating system that will be running the new Apple TV, which is set to launch soon. With tvOS, the set-top box gains access to Siri, universal search, as well as an App Store that will let owners play games on their TV.
The update is available either as an over-the-air (OTA) update on the device itself, or through Apple’s developer center.
As far as what’s new, nothing is known at this point. But if anything noteworthy is discovered, we’ll update accordingly.
