Sketchy report claims iPad Pro will go on sale in first week of November

iPad Pro WIRED hands-on
A sketchy rumor that has originated from Japan claims Apple’s super-sized iPad Pro will go on sale during the first week of November — alongside the new Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
Apple has already confirmed that the iPad Pro will go on sale in “November,” but it hasn’t been any more specific. However, according to Japanese blog Macotakarawhich cites “reliable” sources in Apple’s supply chain, the company won’t leave us waiting too long.
The report claims iPad Pro and the accompanying accessories will be available during the first week of November in select launch markets. This should give fans plenty of time to bag one ahead of the holiday shopping season, but supplies are expected to be tight initially.
It should be noted, however, that we cannot confirm these claims, and we advise you to take them with a pinch of salt until the iPad Pro’s launch date is confirmed by Apple. What we do know at this point is how much the giant slate will cost.
iPad Pro will start at $799 with 32GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity, while the 128GB model is priced at $949. Consumers can also get the 128GB model with cellular connectivity for $1,079. The Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil are sold separately at $169 and $99 respectively.
