Following on the heels of releasing iOS 9.3’s first beta to public testers, Apple has seen fit to share the wealth with public testers trying out pre-release software for the desktop.
On January 14, Apple officially seeded the first beta for OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, the same software it released for developers earlier this week. For those who are already enrolled within the public beta testing program, the new software is available as an update through the Mac App Store. The folks that aren’t signed up just yet, but still want to be, can find out how to enroll right here.
As far as anything major coming to the new desktop software, it appears that it’s behind-the-scenes focused, with improvements to the overall software experience, support, and performance. The same can be said for OS X El Capitan 10.11.3, which is also in beta stages.
