The jailbreak tweak Clex3 allows music listeners to have better control over all of their music habits.
If you are someone who listens to music often, Clex3 may be a great jailbreak tweakfor you. Not only does Clex3 allow users to easily control their music, but it’s new look fits right into that of the iOS 9 user interface. The tweak will add two user interface controllers that allow listeners to control music playback, lyrics to the current playing song and other music by the same artist they are listening to.
The first controller can be accessed by swiping towards the right side of the screen while the second controller can be accessed by swiping to the left side of the screenl.The functions of the two controllers are different, so you’ll definitely have to familiarize yourself with what each does when you have it downloaded. The controller on the right is the one where users can manage music they are listening to, whereas the left controller (called Clexboard) touts multiple plugins.
There are currently four preinstalled plugins; Albums, iTunes, Songs, and Playlists. See below for the function of each plugin:
- Albums: This plugin simply displays all albums in one area. From here, users can just select the album they want to listen to and then pick a song from that album directly.
- iTunes: This plugin will show a list of all the top songs currently on iTunes. Users will also be able to search for songs they like from the search engine and preview songs by simply tapping on it.
- Songs: This plugin provides a list of all your songs. After choosing a song, there will be an indicator above the song’s artwork and by tapping on the ‘Song’ label, the current playing song will show.
- Playlists: This plugin has all of your playlists and will display it if you have different ones. Simply click on a playlist to see all songs in that specific one, then click the top label to go back and view other playlists.
Currently, only users on iPhone version iOS 9 and higher will be able to download Clex3. Those who are still running iOS 8 can download Clex2 and those on iOS 7 are given the option to download the original version of Clex. Unfortunately this jailbreak tweak does not work with iPads yet so for now you need to have an iPhone to download this tweak. Once you have Clex downloaded, make sure you’re on the lookout for any new updates as more plugins are said to be added in future updates.
