A report from Pitchfork claims that Apple has started producing its own in-house content for Apple Music.
Up until now, the company has launched three exclusive music videos on Apple Music: Pharrell’s “Freedom”‘ Eminem’s “Phenomenal”; and Drake’s “Energy.” All these music videos were created in-house by Apple for its music streaming service. The Cupertino company will also be releasing M.I.A.’s “Matahdatah Scroll 01 Broader Than a Border” music video on Monday. That’s not all though; the company is rumored to have projects from Purity Ring, Diddy, and James Bay in the works.
When Pitchfork reached over to Larry Jackson, the head of content at Apple Music, he responded with the following tweet:That, for the unknown, is Larry’s dig at Spotify’s CEO Daniel Ek, who summed up his reaction on Apple Music on its launch day by tweeting “Oh ok.”
Apple has gone all out to promote Apple Music and has been leaving no stone unturned to lure in new customers since it launched the service late last month.
Are you enjoying using Apple Music over Spotify and its rivals?
