Siri is well known for handing out quips when prompted with some questions or remarks, and it’s been discovered she’s ready go keep doling them out if you ask for a hint about Apple’s upcoming event.
Earlier on August 27, Apple officially sent out invitations for its next major event, which will take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 9. At the event, Apple is expected to unveil new iPhones (with a lot of cool new stuff!), new iPads and even a new Apple TV. But, as is par for the course, Apple went with a tag line that obviously has some people pondering its meaning.
“Siri, give us a hint,” graces the front of the Apple invite to this year’s media event, and, perhaps as expected, some folks tried it out. As noted by Business Insider, Apple’s digital personal assistant is more than willing to give you a response, but it might not be the one you’re looking for.
They have three answers to the prompt “Give me a hint,” with the first one having Siri suggest to look inside yourself to find the answer — especially on September 9. The second teases a hint of lime, and the already-announced event on September 9. Finally, the third one is Siri at her best, stating only “You’re cute when you’re desperate for information.”
This publication tried the prompt as well, except with “Hey Siri, give me a hint.” She quickly replied with:
