Just one week ago, Apple added support for almost 30 new banks and credit unions, including Scottrade, for its mobile payment option Apple Pay.
Now, there’s a plethora of new banks and credit unions to keep an eye on, as more than 70 new institutions have been added to Apple’s list of supporters for the mobile payment option. One of the major new additions is HSBC. The list also includes the FedEx Employees Credit Association. The rest is generally regional banks, as is par for the course as the majority of major institutions already support Apple Pay.
