Keeping up to date on as many things as possible is one of the strengths of Twitter, but so is quickly interacting, and letting an opinion be known.
One such way to make an opinion known is with the polls that appear on the social network from time to time, but they haven’t been a feature that the majority of users have been able to access yet. That’s changing in the coming days, though, as Twitter has announced Polls are rolling out to everyone in the coming days.
It’s a pretty quick poll, though, as users will only be able to offer two choices, but in a quick pinch, like what people think you should have for dinner, or even what to name your pet (after you whittle the options down from the initial 50 or so), it sounds like a Twitter Poll might be a quick way to surface a great end result.
The Poll option will show up in the Compose window in the stock Twitter for iOS app soon (Android and Twitter.com support is coming along at the sam time), so keep an eye out for it.
