Pangu just released version 1.1.0 of its jailbreak tool for Windows that fixes bugs, improves the success rate and speeds up the jailbreak process. The team has now released an update to its Pangu 9.0.x Untether package on Cydia that improves the success rate and reliability of the bootup process on 64-bit devices along with fixing a bug that led to a failure to use the instrument functions in Xcode.
If you’re already jailbroken, we highly recommend that you head to Cydia and update the package now. You should be able to see the ‘Pangu 9.0.x Untether’ update in the Changes tab once you refresh Cydia. The team highly recommends that you upgrade the package individually.
Previously, users who jailbroke their devices running iOS 9.0 – iOS 9.0.2 were facing a mysterious “boot loop of death” issue which was allegedly caused by “unclean reboots”. The latest update to the Pangu 9.0.x Untether package addresses this issue and reduces the chances of boot failure.
If you haven’t jailbroken your device yet then make sure to read our detailed walkthrough on how to jailbreak your iOS 9.0 – iOS 9.0.x device using Pangu 1.1.0:
