Apple yesterday seeded the third beta of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan to developers. As it turns out, the beta contains references to a new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2.
The Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 are going to be successors to the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad, while the Magic Keyboard is likely going to be a reimagined version of the existing Wireless keyboard that Apple sells.
It is unclear what new features these new keyboard and mouse accessories will sport, but an FCC filling had revealed that the Magic Mouse 2 will feature Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and ship with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
It is likely that the new keyboard and mouse accessories from Apple will ship with Force Touch functionality built-in, which is already found inside the 2015 generation of MacBooks.
Apple will likely unveil its new keyboard and mouse accessories along with the 21.5-inch iMac next week.
